OVERALL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion, participants should be able to:
• Solidify their foundational and vascular ultrasound knowledge through review, application of acquired concepts, and engagement in critical thinking activities within a team-based learning setting
• Recognize and acknowledge the roles of student, mentor, and mentoring, and adopt lifelong learning as a continuous and essential process throughout their careers
• Use carotid consensus criteria to inform medical and surgical management decisions in carotid artery disease and improve patient outcomes
• Apply and or integrate appropriate Physiologic Diagnostic testing for improved vascular diagnosis
• Recognize musculoskeletal parameters relevant to ergonomic injury prevention
• Demonstrate foundational skills in vascular ultrasound and physiologic testing through hands-on practice based on expert-identified techniques
• Develop baseline understanding of venous lymphatic connection
• Apply POCUS relevance to Vascular Diagnostics in varied environments • Identify knowledge gaps requiring further study
