Overview:
This webinar discusses the contribution of carotid plaque morphology to the risk of ischemic stroke through a case presentation. It reviews Plaque RADS, a novel four-point plaque vulnerability score for reporting carotid plaque composition and morphology. It also discusses the potential limitations of carotid ultrasound in assessing plaque morphology.
