This presentation will review symptoms of median arcuate ligament compression syndrome (MALS), describe duplex ultrasound protocol of MALS as well as velocity criteria.  There will also be examples of case-based learning with their correlative exams.

 

Upon Completion of this course the learner should be able to:

 

Discuss overview of venous thrombosis

Discuss US criteria and examples of venous thrombosis cases

Discuss DVT cases of various chronicity using US and IVUS
