Carotid Artery Waveforms: Case-Based Learning
Overview:
This webinar will demonstrate, through practice-based cases, some of the unusual Doppler waveforms technologists may encounter. It will also demonstrate some unique findings that often get overlooked in a seemingly routine carotid ultrasound evaluation.
Objectives:
Upon Completion of this course the learner should be able to:
Technologists will be able to recognize abnormal carotid ultrasound spectral Doppler waveforms
Technologists will be able to accurately determine the source of abnormal waveforms
Technologists will be able to recognize characteristics of some unusual pathologies, such as fibromuscular dysplasia, and carotid web
