This presentation is a review of the principles of arterial flow in the application of lower extremity arterial physiologic testing. Additionally, the process of completing pulse volume recordings, the assessment of Doppler arterial signals and segmental pressures are discussed to ensure optimal skills are utilized, and exam results are diagnostic and reliable. In conclusion, five case study examples are discussed to identify segments and severity of arterial occlusive disease.
