Program Overview:
This presentation reviews the role workstation equipment plays in occupational injury risks. Sonographer work posture changes will be reviewed as a significant part of an ergonomic workstation. Some of the newest designs and prototypes are also presented along with possible injury risks associated with them.

Objectives:
1. Recognize the role of all the components of the ultrasound exam room
2. Discuss how ultrasound has evolved and possible risks resulting from new technology
3. Identify the components of a “systems” approach to injury prevention
